Latoya discovered her passion for youth development shortly after receiving her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of New Haven. It was during this time that she engaged in case management and resiliency building with young girls rescued from human trafficking operations in Andhra Pradesh, India. Directly following this experience, Latoya was on-boarded with the YWCA of Hartford as a Social Worker providing services to several after-school programs. This foundation has motivated Latoya to purse a life of service, which brought her to her current role with Healing Heart.
